Angel Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 5 c. self-rising flour, 3/4 c. shortening, 2 c. buttermilk, 1/4 c. granulated sugar and 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 tbsp. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Sift flour, add sugar and cut in shortening.
Add yeast and buttermilk.
Knead and place in refrigerator overnight; covered. Cut off amount needed.
Make out as biscuits, but do not allow to rise before baking.
Bake at 400° to 425° for 15 minutes or until done.
