Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. buttermilk, 1 c. shortening, 5 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 c. sugar and 1 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a saucepan, combine buttermilk and shortening.
Heat until shortening melts.
Cool to lukewarm. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients, except yeast.
Dissolve yeast in water. Stir into buttermilk. Add to dry ingredients.
Mix well (it will be sticky).
Roll out and cut with cutter.
Let rise for 1 hour or after mixing all ingredients, you can refrigerate (for 5 days) until ready to use.
