Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add to dry ingredients and add milk.
Mix well. Roll to 1/4-inch thick.
Cut with round biscuit cutter.
Dip biscuits in melted butter and fold in half.
Bake on cookie sheet in a 400Β° oven for 15 minutes or until brown.
Half a package of yeast (1 1/2 teaspoons) will make half a batch.
