Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 2 tbsp. warm water, 1 tsp. soda, 3 tsp. baking powder and 5 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dissolve the yeast in warm water.
Combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Cut in shortening until size of peas. Add buttermilk and then yeast mixture.
Stir until all flour is dampened.
Knead on floured board.
Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 400Β° oven.
(This dough can be stored in a tightly covered container in refrigerator for 2 weeks.)
