Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. self-rising flour, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tsp. soda, 1 c. crisco and 2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift together flour, sugar and soda.
Add remaining ingredients and mix as biscuits.
Pinch off dough, about the size of a walnut and roll out biscuits.
Let stand a few hours to rise. Bake in 425° to 450° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
May store dough in refrigerator in a sealed bowl and use as needed.
This will keep 4 or 5 days.
