Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 2 1/2 tbsp. warm water, 3 1/4 c. flour, 2 1/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
In a separate bowl, put flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. Cut in shortening; add yeast mixture and buttermilk.
Knead slightly.
Roll out to 1/2-inch; cut 15 biscuits.
Place into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan and brush with butter.
Let rise 30 minutes or in refrigerator overnight.
Bake until golden brown.
