Add yeast to buttermilk; add to flour mixture slowly, stirring it in with a fork.

Turn dough out on a lightly floured cloth or board; knead several times.

Roll out 1/2-inch thick.

Cut; place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake in 450Β° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 12 to 16 biscuits.
