Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~), 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand 5 minutes.
Combine flour and next 4 ingredients; make a well in center of mixture. Add yeast mixture, oil and buttermilk; stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter; place on ungreased baking sheets.
Cover; let rise in a warm place (85°) free from drafts, 1 hour.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yields 24 (100 calories per biscuit).
