Angel Biscuits
Angel Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 3/4 c. vegetable oil, 2 c. buttermilk and 5 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add yeast to water.
Add oil and buttermilk.
Add all this to dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
Store in refrigerator in tight container, allowing room for bread to rise.
Pinch off as much as needed at a time.
Will keep up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
Bake 15 minutes at 400° to 425° or let rise 30 minutes and then bake.
