Angel Bars
Angel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box graham crackers, 1 c. butter (2 sticks), 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. milk and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cover a 9 x 13-inch pan in graham crackers.
Combine butter, sugar, milk and egg in saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, until this is boiling.
Add coconut, nuts and crumbs; cook until thickens.
Pour over graham crackers in pan, then add another layer of crackers on top of the mixture.
Spread a can of sour cream or vanilla icing, heated, in a thin layer on top of crackers.
Cool and cut into squares.
