Anadama Bread
Anadama Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal, 2 c. boiling water, 2 tbsp. oil, 1/2 c. molasses and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Stir cornmeal slowly into boiling water.
Boil 5 minutes.
Add oil, molasses and salt; cool. When lukewarm add yeast which has been dissolved in the warm water.
Add flour to make stiff dough. Knead well.
Let rise until doubled.
Shape into 2 loaves.
Place in greased pans.
Let rise.
Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
Reduce to 350°.
Bake 30 minutes more.
