Amish Pumpkin Bread
Amish Pumpkin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. vegetable oil, 4 eggs, beaten, 1 lb. canned pumpkin and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mix sugar and eggs together.
Add pumpkin.
Then add all dry ingredients, then water, stirring just until mixed.
Pour batter into two greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans (or I use 5 of the 5 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pans).
These make nice gifts.
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 1 hour.
For the large pans, less time for small ones.
I check with a toothpick.
