Amish Bread Stuffing
Amish Bread Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, 2 c. chopped celery, 1/2 c. minced onion, 1 c. finely chopped or shredded carrots and 3/4 c. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Melt butter over low heat. Add celery, onion, carrots and parsley.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste.
Saute until soft.
Add bread cubes, turning until all are buttered. Add extra melted butter, if necessary.
Beat 3 eggs until light and pour over mixture.
Stir until all mixture is moistened.
Will fill 10 pound turkey or can be baked in a casserole.
