Ambrosia Dessert
Ambrosia Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 stick margarine, melted, 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 2 c. boiling water and 2 pkg. orange jell-o, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Drain pineapple, reserving liquid. Add cold water to liquid to measure 1 cup. Stir boiling water into Jell-O in a large bowl for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved.
Stir in measured liquid. Refrigerate 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of beaten egg whites). Stir in whipped topping with wire whisk until smooth.
Refrigerate 10 minutes or until mixture will mound. Stir in oranges, pineapple, marshmallows and coconut.
Pour over graham cracker mix.
