Almond Toffee
Almond Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. light brown sugar, 2 c. sliced almonds, 40 saltine crackers and 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Sprinkle 1 cup almonds evenly.
Place crackers on top.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup almonds on crackers.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add brown sugar and bring to boil.
Cook 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Pour over crackers and spread gently.
Bake 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes.
Spread chocolate evenly and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup almonds.
Cool in refrigerator until hard.
Peel away foil and break or cut into pieces.
