Almond Rolls
Almond Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. blanched almonds, finely ground, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 2 tbsp. milk and 1 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In large skillet, combine all ingredients except confectioners sugar; heat, stirring, over low heat until butter is melted and mixture is mushy.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 3 inches apart on greased and floured cookie sheets.
Bake 1 sheet at a time in 350Β° oven for 5 or 6 minutes, until golden brown; then remove, one at a time, from cookie sheet.
Quickly roll up around handle of a wooden spoon and cool.
To serve, dust with sifted confectioners sugar and fill with whipped cream from a pastry tube.
