Almond Puff
Almond Puff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. softened margarine, 1 c. flour, 2 tbsp. water, 1/2 c. margarine and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cut softened margarine into flour.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons water over mixture and mix with fork.
Roll into a ball and divide in half.
On ungreased cookie sheet, pat each half into a 12 x 13-inch strip, about 3 inches apart.
In medium saucepan, heat butter and water to a rolling boil.
Remove from heat and stir in extract and flour.
Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball in pan; about 1 minute.
Remove from heat, add eggs, one at a time, beat until smooth.
Divide in half, spread over strips; make sure to cover strips with batter.
