Almond Pine Cones
Almond Pine Cones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. whole almonds, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 5 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled and 1 tbsp. chopped green onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Spread almonds in a single layer in shallow pan.
Bake at 300Β° for 15 minutes, stirring often until almonds just turn brown. Combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise; mix well.
Add remaining ingredients.
Blend, cover and chill overnight.
Form cheese mix and shape into 2 pine cones on serving platter. Beginning at narrow end, press almonds at a slight angle into cheese mixture in rows.
Continue overlapping rows until all cheese is covered.
Garnish with pine sprigs.
