Alaska Icebox Rolls
Alaska Icebox Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1/4 c. sugar, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. boiling water and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Margarine, salt in a large bowl and pour boiling over and stir until well mixed.
Let set until cool.
Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add yeast and egg to margarine mixture.
Beat until well blended. Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight.
When ready to use, rolls; cover and let rise until doubled in size
(45 minutes to 1 hour).
Bake at 400Β° for 10 minutes.
