Alabama Biscuits
Alabama Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. dry milk and 4 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix yeast and 1/2 cup of warm water.
Mix dry milk and 1 1/2 cups of water.
Pour these 2 mixtures together and set aside.
Mix the dry ingredients and add oil, yeast and milk mixture together. Mix well.
Pour onto a lightly floured surface.
Knead 10 minutes. Roll out and cut into biscuits.
Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise 45 minutes.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 20 minutes.
