Acorn Cookies
Acorn Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 3/4 c. flour and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla together.
Stir in flour and baking powder.
Shape into walnut-size balls.
Pinch to a point on one end to resemble an acorn.
Place on cookie sheet and bake 18 minutes.
Melt caramels in double-boiler or microwave.
Dip top of "acorn" cookies into melted caramel and then into chopped pecans.
Place on wax paper to cool.
