7-Up Cake
7-Up Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. butter or softened margarine, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 3 c. cake flour, sifted and 3/4 c. 7-up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream butter or margarine; add sugar and mix well.
Add eggs one at a time (mix well after each egg); add sifted cake flour, 1 cup at a time.
Add 7-Up, 1/4 cup at a time and mix well.
Add vanilla flavoring or your choice and mix completely.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done in Bundt cake pan or round spring cake pan.
Check cake with toothpick to make sure middle is done.
