7 Minute Icing is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. water, 2 tsp. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine unbeaten egg whites, sugar, water, and corn syrup in top of double boiler.
Beat just enough to blend ingredients.
Place over rapidly boiling water and beat with hand mixer until mixture is light and fluffy and will hold its shape.
This requires 7 minutes by hand or 3 to 4 minutes by electric mixer.
Remove from heat; add vanilla and continue beating until frosting is stiff enough to stand in peaks.
Spread on cake and enjoy!
