7 Layered Salad is an moderately easy salad you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with lettuce, c. celery, diced, eggs, hard-boiled and sliced, (10 oz.) pkg. uncooked frozen peas and c. green peppers, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Tear the cleaned, crispy lettuce into bite-size pieces; place in glass bowl.
Layer rest of the ingredients in order given.
Add sugar to the mayonnaise and spread over the top as you would frosting.
Top with grated cheese.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
At serving time, garnish with parsley and croutons. Diced ham may also be added, if desired.
