7 Layer Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head lettuce, torn into pieces, 1 c. diced celery, 1 medium onion, 1 (10 oz.) bag frozen peas and 1/2 c. green pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Place into a 9 x 12-inch glass pan.
Layer diced celery, diced onion, frozen peas (uncooked), green pepper, fried bacon (crumbled), Cheddar cheese and fresh parsley (chopped).
Mix the mayonnaise and sugar.
Spread on top.
Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
(Stays well; doesn't wilt.)
