4 Layer Torte
4 Layer Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick oleo, softened, 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts, 8 oz. cream cheese, softened and 1 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix oleo, flour and nuts.
Press into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 to 13 minutes.
Cool well.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy; fold in 2 cups Cool Whip and spread on cooled crust.
Beat milk and pudding mix together (about 3 minutes).
Spread on cream cheese layer.
Spread with additional Cool Whip and chill well before serving.
(Use fat-free cream cheese and lite Cool Whip to save fat grams!)
