12 Hour Salad
12 Hour Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 c. torn salad greens, 1 1/2 c. chopped celery, 2 medium green peppers, chopped, 1 medium red onion, chopped and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Place salad greens in the bottom of a 3-quart bowl or 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
Top with layers of celery, green peppers, onion and peas.
Do not toss.
Combine salad dressing, sour cream and sugar; spread over salad.
Sprinkle with cheese and bacon; cover and refrigerate overnight.
Makes 12 servings.
