Made with 1 head lettuce, 1 1/2 c. finely chopped celery, 2 green peppers, cut in rings, 1 c. chopped red onion and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, partially cooked, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Shred lettuce into a 9 x 13-inch dish.
Layer lettuce, peppers, onion and peas.
Mix mayonnaise and sour cream; spread on top.
Sprinkle sugar, cheese and bacon on top.
Cover and refrigerate about 4 to 8 hours.
Do not toss until ready to serve.
