D. Reciprocal Agreements
1. Students wishing to participate with any institution holding
a Reciprocal Agreement with Tarleton State University must be
referred to the Office of International Studies.
OIS will:
a) receive applications for exchange students coming to TSU or
going to an exchange institution. The outgoing student must receive
approval from the academic advisor for course selection at the
foreign site
b) send a letter of confirmation and immigration documents for
incoming or outgoing students to obtain a visa if necessary
c) arrange for incoming students to be met at the DFW Airport
and taken to their place of residence and provide for foreign
site personnel to meet Tarleton exchange student at the airport
or bus/train station
d) provide an orientation program for the incoming exchange and
outgoing student
e) provide a letter from the Director of International Programs
for each incoming student to present to each professor explaining
why the students name will not appear in the official class
roll and that the student should be treated as a regular student
appearing in the class roll.
f) request mid-term grades
g) request final grades
h) provide a Certificate of Attendance for each foreign exchange
students showing the course taken, the number of credit hours,
the letter grade and a percentage grade.
