In a medium size pan over medium to low heat, cook beans and garlic until beans are tender, (30 to 45 minutes).
Once beans are tender, remove garlic.
Place beans in food processor, add lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
Purée 3 to 4 minutes, then add olive oil and purée 2 additional minutes.
Slice and toast the bread. Spread bean dip on toast, sprinkle with sage and serve.
