Triple Layer Mud Pie
Triple Layer Mud Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with chocolate ready crust pie shell (6 oz.), sq. semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted, c. eagle brand sweetened condensed milk, c. chopped pecans, toasted and c. cold milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Pour chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into bowl; stir until smooth and pour into crust.
Press nuts evenly onto chocolate in the crust and refrigerate 10 minutes.
Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding mixes.
Beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes or until smooth.
Mixture will be thick.
Spread 1 1/2 cups of the pudding over nuts and chocolate layer in crust. Immediately stir half of the whipped topping into remaining pudding.
Spread over pudding in crust.
Top with remaining whipped topping.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until set.
