Teriyaki Pot Roast
Teriyaki Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 lb. boneless pot roast or chuck, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1/2 tsp. curry powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine flour, salt, pepper and curry powder.
Dredge meat in seasoned flour.
Brown in shortening.
Pour off drippings.
Add water, honey, soy sauce and ginger.
Cover tightly and cook slowly for 3 to 3 1/2 hours at 325Β° or until meat is tender.
Add 3/4 cup water to cooking liquid; add 1/4 cup flour to make gravy.
