Taco Pie
Taco Pie is an moderately easy Mexican dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Made with about 3 lb. hamburger meat, large can cream of chicken soup or 2 small cans, tomatoes with diced chili, extra jalapeños if desired, large onion, diced and half moon longhorn cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Fry meat.
Drain off excess grease.
Combine soup and tomatoes to meat.
Mix well.
Let cook 15 minutes in baking dish.
Layer all ingredients.
Put a layer of corn tortillas on bottom.
Then meat mixture (part of it, about 1/3), then onions, then cheese, continue until all gone.
Leave some cheese to sprinkle evenly for topping. Bake at 300° about 30 minutes.
Let cool.
