Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. mushrooms, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 3 tbsp. margarine and 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Remove stems from mushrooms and finely chop to 1/3 cup.
Cook and stir stems, onion and pepper in 3 tablespoons margarine until tender (5 minutes).
Remove from heat; stir in crumbs, salt, thyme, turmeric and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon margarine in shallow baking dish until melted.
Fill caps.
Bake 15 minutes at 375°, broil setting or at 550° 3 to 4 inches from heat for 2 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
