Strawberry Trifle
Strawberry Trifle is an easy dinner. Made with 1 pound cake, 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding, 1 pt. hulled and sliced strawberries, 1/4 c. orange liqueur or orange juice and 1 (4 1/2 oz.) pkg. whipped topping or cool whip, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut cake horizontally, making 3 layers.
Sprinkle evenly with liqueur, then cut cake into 1-inch cubes.
Prepare pudding mix as directed on package for pudding.
Layer 1/2 the cake cubes, pudding and strawberries and 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping in a 6-cup serving bowl.
Repeat cake, pudding and berry layers and garnish with remaining topping.
Chill.
