Slow Ball Dip
Slow Ball Dip is an moderately easy snack you can prepare in just 42 minutes. Made with large round loaf bread, (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, chopped clams (reserve 1/4 c. liquid), . grated onion and . beer, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut a round circle in the bread and hollow out. Set aside. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the clams, clam juice, onion, beer, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, red hot sauce, salt and pepper until well blended.
With 2 sheets of aluminum foil large enough to cover loaf, fill loaf with cream cheese mixture and seal tightly with foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 3 hours.
