Seven-up Cake
Seven-Up Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 24 minutes. Made with heritage butter, c. sugar, c. flour, heritage eggs and . vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream sugar, butter or margarine and eggs.
Add flour one cup at a time, mix well.
Add vanilla and mix; add 7-Up last.
Beat for 20 minutes; pour into tube cake pan. Do not grease or flour the pan.
Bake for 45 minutes for 1 hour or until knife inserted comes out clean.
When cake is done, loosen with knife around edges.
Cool in pan on wire rack for 1/2 hour.
Loosen again, put cake on serving dish and sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
