Rollettes
Rollettes is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 40 minutes. Made with . round steak, (1/4-inch thick), strips bacon, c. chopped onion, c. bread crumbs and c. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cut steak 6 oblong pieces (or have done at the butcher's). Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Pound thin with edge of plate.
Top each with half strip bacon.
Mix crumbs, onion, parsley and cheese. Spread over bacon.
Roll up and secure with toothpicks or string. Brown gently on all sides in hot oil.
Mix tomato paste and remaining ingredients, except pasta.
Pour over rolls.
Cover tightly and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
Remove toothpicks. Serve over spaghetti or favorite pasta.
