Rhubarb Bread
Rhubarb Bread is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with c. brown sugar, c. vegetable oil, beaten egg, . vanilla and c. buttermilk or sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together sugar and oil.
Blend in egg, vanilla and milk. In separate bowl, combine flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda. Add to moist ingredients.
Stir in rhubarb and nuts.
Divide batter between 2 well-greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350Β° for about 45 minutes or until bread tests done with wooden pick. Turn out onto rack to cool.
Yield: 2 loaves.
