Mix flour and sugar
Melt butter
Gradually add sugar mixture to butter
Add milk, eggs, syrup and vanilla, blending as you go
Prick unbaked pie crust in bottom with a fork
Pour mixture into crust and sprinkle pecans on top of mixture
Bake at 325Β° for approximately 50 to 60 minutes or until pie does not shake in the middle
