Oatmeal Cake
Oatmeal Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with c. boiling water, c. quick cooking oatmeal, c. white sugar, c. brown sugar and c. crisco oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over the oatmeal.
Set aside and cool.
Combine the white sugar, brown sugar and oil.
Add the eggs and cream together.
Add the flour, soda, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Add the oatmeal mixture. Beat 3 minutes and bake in oblong pan for 25 or 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Remove from oven and frost.
