Mexican Bean Dip
Mexican Bean Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. lean hamburger, 1 can bush pinto beans, drain off some liquid, 1 container sour cream, 1/4 to 1/2 c. shredded cheese (mild or sharp cheddar) and 1 to 1 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning (old el paso is salty), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown hamburger in a skillet, adding 1/2 to 2/3 of the taco seasoning (to taste).
Use fork to break up the meat as it is browning.
Drain hamburger.
Place beans in same skillet the meat was browned in, using a fork to mash the beans to desired consistency.
Mix 1/2 to 2/3 package of taco seasoning in beans while cooking.
Broil to melt cheese.
Layer in 9-inch pie plate or casserole dish sour cream, beans, meat, salsa and cheese.
