Melt-Away Rounds is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter, 3 c. sharp cheddar, 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour, dash of salt and 1 tbsp. poppy seed or 2 tsp. paprika, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Add cheese, flour, salt and paprika or poppy seed.
Form a dough.
Chill dough for 2 hours.
Shape into small balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with extra poppy seed or paprika.
Bake balls at 400° for 10 minutes.
Balls should never get browned.
Cool on cookie sheet.
Remove carefully. Store in airtight containers until ready to serve.
Reheat at 400° for a few minutes to serve.
