Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix together flour, soda, sugar, eggs, butter (softened) and fruit cocktail (undrained).
Beat for 3 minutes.
Pour batter into pan.
Sprinkle with butterscotch chips, pecans (chopped) and white sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
