Gooey Butter Cake
Gooey Butter Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 2 minutes. Made with box yellow cake mix, box powdered sugar, (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, coconut and few nuts (optional) and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine cake mix with 2 eggs and melted margarine (butter may be used).
Batter will be thick.
Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan; top with mixture of remaining 2 eggs, cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
If desired, coconut and nuts may be added to batter in amount preferred.
Cuts into squares or pieces easier when warm.
