Easy Christmas Fruit Cake
Easy Christmas Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with spice cake mix, container mixed candied fruit, box raisins, eggs and c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Empty cake mix into a large bowl.
Mix well with eggs, water and oil.
In another bowl, mix candied fruit, raisins and walnuts in 2/3 cup flour so they don't sink to bottom of cake.
Mix batter and fruit mixture together.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 350Β° until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
Remove from oven.
While cake is warm, drizzle with mixture of 1 cup of powdered sugar and a few tablespoons of warm water.
Decorate top with maraschino cherries, pieces of green fruit from fruit mixture and walnuts.
