Clam Chowder
Clam Chowder is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 24 minutes. Made with c. clean clams, plain biscuits, irish potatoes, strips fatback meat and medium onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Bring clams to a boil.
Drain water off.
Fry fatback meat and brown onion in the grease.
Add meat and onions to clams; add 6 cups water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Dice up potatoes and add to clams.
Boil for 30 minutes.
Cut biscuits up into quarters and roll into balls.
Drop into boiling clam broth and cook until done.
