Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 24 minutes. Made with c. cooked, boned chicken, to 2 c. potatoes, diced, onion, chopped, bell pepper, chopped and c. celery, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook until tender the chicken, potatoes, onion, bell pepper, celery and carrots in chicken broth, water and cream of chicken soup.
Add peas and corn.
Add seasonings to taste.
Add chicken, thicken with flour or cornstarch.
Pour into baking pan and top with homemade biscuits.
Bake in oven until top is done.
This can be done with steak, roast and brown gravy.
Makes a good beef pot pie.
