Cajun Shrimp
Cajun Shrimp is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 qt. water, 1 large lemon, sliced, 4 lb. unpeeled large shrimp, 2 c. vegetable oil and 1/4 c. hot sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring water and lemon to a boil.
Add shrimp.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Drain well.
Rinse with cold water.
Chill.
Peel and devein shrimp.
Place shrimp in a large heavy-duty Ziploc.
Combine vegetable oil and remaining ingredients.
Stir well and pour over shrimp.
Seal bag.
Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours.
Drain before serving.
