Blueberry Glaze
Blueberry Glaze is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. mashed blueberries, 1/2 c. water, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Mash blueberries and add 1/2 cup water; bring to a boil. Strain juice into a cup from cooked berries.
Add enough water to juice to make 1 full cup.
In the same saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in the cup of blueberry liquid.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Cook about 1 minute more.
Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and cool.
When cool, add about 2 cups of fresh blueberries.
